Cityscape Recruitment is a top recruitment agency, working collaboratively with construction professionals, with opportunities in London and throughout the UK. Cityscape Recruitment were looking to rebuild their website from scratch, following best practices to create a future proof structure. They required an expert team to outline the structure, content and usability of their new website, as well as assist in migrating to their new website without losing prior rankings and organic traffic. We then laid out a scalable site structure for SEO and usability with capacity to grow and develop in the future. we then managed the site migration from start to end to avoid any technical issues and the negative effects that can occur when launching a new site. Our Approach We started with keyword research and competitor analysis to truly understand the relevant search terms for Cityscape Recruitment’s business. These insights allowed us to outline a series of Search Engine Optimised job, location, role and sector pages with bold trust signals and clear calls to action to increase conversions. We were also able optimise their homepage around a cluster of keywords related to Construction Recruitment in order to rank well for both top and long tail search terms. In the process of outlining the sitemap, we also created a consistent structure of internal anchor text links for SEO and usability. During the site migration mapping process, we also resolved many legacy SEO issues which were probably inhibiting the old website’s Organic ranking potential. Cityscape Recruitment had no expectations for Organic traffic growth. However, they were pleasantly surprised by the sudden increase in Google rankings, Organic traffic and new enquiries shortly after launching their new website.
