Greenomy, a leader in ESG sustainability reporting solutions, faced the challenge of establishing their online presence in a competitive European market while driving leads and building authority. As a new startup, they needed to enhance their organic search visibility across multiple regions, including the UK, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Germany, and France, particularly in a low-search-volume industry.
To address these challenges, we conducted a comprehensive SEO audit that identified critical issues with internal linking, page layout, and content structure. The tailored solution involved developing an organic search strategy that included the implementation of hreflang tags to effectively target multiple regions. The primary objectives were to boost Greenomy's organic rankings and traffic, enhance onsite usability to convert visitors into qualified leads, and achieve cross-border visibility to establish Greenomy as a leader in ESG compliance solutions.
The strategy focused on targeting a niche cluster of high-impact keywords, such as "ESG Reporting Software," while also addressing the company's small backlink profile. The approach included optimizing the homepage for relevant keywords and launching an aggressive link-building campaign. A monthly roadmap was created based on the SEO audit findings, prioritizing tasks to maximize organic traffic growth. Recommendations were made to improve content, layout, and calls to action, enhancing both SEO and user experience.
