Full Credential Description
Wizz for Kids, an education center based in Cluj-Napoca, faced the challenge of expanding its services to meet the growing demand from parents for innovative educational experiences for their children. The center, which initially focused on workshops for very young kids and their mothers, sought to establish a primary school that would follow the Waldorf education philosophy, distinct from traditional public schooling. This transition required significant financial investment for accreditation, setting up the school, and acquiring necessary materials and equipment.
To address these challenges, Andra Ciorba, the manager of Wizz for Kids, secured an EU-guaranteed loan from BTMic, backed by the European Investment Fund (EIF) under the EUs Investment Plan for Europe. This funding was crucial for the schools expansion, allowing them to start with two groups and approximately 30 children, with plans to grow further. The school aims to achieve British Overseas School (BSO) accreditation, which is a costly endeavor but essential for their vision of providing a flexible curriculum.
As a result of this tailored financial solution, Wizz for Kids not only expanded its physical presence by opening a second location but also created six new jobs, contributing to local employment. The center is gradually increasing its visibility through word-of-mouth marketing, with plans for a more public presence in the future. The combination of innovative teaching methods and a supportive financial framework positions Wizz for Kids to meet the educational needs of the community effectively.
