Investment & Fund Management
backed by the European Investment
Full Credential Description
Argentina Residenza, a hospitality business located in Rome, faced the challenge of modernizing its facilities while preserving the historic charm of its properties. The manager, Stefano Settimi, recognized the importance of maintaining the 15th-century wall paintings and enhancing the overall guest experience. To address these needs, the hotel underwent a significant renovation that included the expansion of a new wing and the addition of modern amenities.
To finance these improvements, Argentina Residenza secured an EU-guaranteed loan through Banca del Mezzogiorno MedioCredito Centrale, backed by the European Investment Fund (EIF) under the Investment Plan for Europe. This funding enabled the hotel to open a new multi-purpose room that serves as a breakfast area, a coffee-break lounge equipped with multimedia technology, and a bar in the evenings. Additionally, three new suites featuring circular whirlpool tubs were added, greatly enhancing the comfort and luxury offered to guests.
The renovations not only improved the facilities but also allowed for the expansion of the team, with five new employees joining the staff. The successful completion of this project has led to increased business, prompting Stefano to plan for the addition of twelve more rooms in 2018. The timely access to funding was crucial, as it prevented delays in the expansion and modernization efforts, ultimately contributing to a more enjoyable experience for guests and a boost in the hotel's operational capacity.
