The European Investment Fund (EIF) invested €28 million in Bullnet Capital IV, a fund focused on deep tech and technology transfer projects in Spain. This investment, supported by the InvestEU programme, marks the second closing of Bullnet Capital IV, which has now surpassed €80 million in total commitments. The EIF has a long-standing relationship with Bullnet, having supported its previous funds for over 22 years, contributing more than €63 million to date.

Bullnet Capital IV has already made investments in ten companies, seven of which are spin-offs closely associated with prominent Spanish universities and research centers. These include Quside, Leapwave, AGPhotonics, Deep Detection, Mapsi Photonics, InspirationQ, and Immersia. The remaining three companies—Katoid, MLCode, and Enthec—were founded by experienced entrepreneurs in high technology. The fund aims to invest in 17 to 18 companies that develop innovative technologies with a global impact, thereby fostering the growth of Spanish industry and research.

The partnership with the EIF has been crucial for Bullnet Capital, not only providing financial backing but also enhancing credibility with other potential investors. The founding partners of Bullnet Capital emphasized their commitment to supporting young Spanish technology companies, leveraging their extensive experience from previous investments to help these companies consolidate and grow.
