Despite their success, Tempora faced significant cash flow challenges due to the lengthy and costly process of preparing exhibitions, which can take up to two years before generating revenue from ticket sales. This financial strain threatened their ability to continue developing their business and maintaining their commitment to ongoing exhibitions.

To address this issue, Tempora secured an EU-guaranteed loan from St’art, facilitated by the European Investment Fund (EIF) under the Investment Plan for Europe. This financial support alleviated their cash flow problems, allowing them to invest in a new workshop and continue their exhibition projects without diverting all their resources to cover upfront costs. As a result, Tempora was able to multitask effectively, ensuring the successful execution of major exhibitions, such as ‘Pompei: the immortal city’ in the USA, while also focusing on expanding their business operations. This strategic financial solution not only stabilized their cash flow but also reinforced their mission to make knowledge accessible to a broader audience.
