Manufacturas Sonoras, S.L., a recording studio based in Madrid, faced significant challenges as it sought to expand its operations and enhance its service offerings. Initially starting as a small studio in 2014, the business grew to accommodate larger clients and more prominent artists by 2017. However, the existing studio facilities were inadequate for the increasing demand, prompting the need for a larger space and better equipment. The studio's Executive Manager, Nacho Caballero, noted that while Madrid is home to many renowned Spanish artists, the availability of high-quality studio services was limited.

To address these challenges, Manufacturas Sonoras secured a loan through CREA SGR and CERSA, with backing from the European Investment Fund (EIF) under the Cultural and Creative Sectors Guarantee Facility (CCS GF). This funding enabled the studio to acquire a state-of-the-art mixing console, which was crucial for elevating the quality of their recordings and attracting external producers. Nacho emphasized that this equipment was the "missing piece" for their operations, allowing them to handle larger projects and generate new business opportunities.

As a result of this expansion, Manufacturas Sonoras not only improved its service capabilities but also maintained its commitment to supporting smaller bands by providing affordable access to high-quality recording services. The studio plans to further enhance its facilities by hiring an assistant producer and creating an artistic hub that includes exhibition space for other art forms and educational programs for aspiring producers and audio-visual technicians. This strategic growth positions Manufacturas Sonoras as a key player in the Madrid music scene, with aspirations to nurture future talent in the industry.
