Initially, Solshine Ecofoods faced significant challenges in securing financing through traditional banking channels, relying instead on personal resources and family support. As the business grew, this funding was insufficient, prompting Rodrigo to seek assistance from Qredits. Qredits provided a microloan backed by an EU guarantee under the Employment and Social Innovation programme (EaSI). This crucial financing enabled the company to launch its online store and invest in inventory and marketing efforts.

As a result of this support, Solshine Ecofoods is now planning to expand its operations by hiring additional staff to enhance quality control, improve packaging, and develop new distribution channels. The company also commits 10% of its sales to a non-profit organization chosen by its customers, further reinforcing its dedication to social responsibility.
