Jasmin Holzapfel faced the challenge of becoming a partner in Reha Weyhe GbR, a German medical practice specializing in health management, which employs over 50 staff members across four locations. After completing her physiotherapy studies in 2013, she was eager to take on a leadership role within the practice, which she had joined as a trainee. The opportunity to buy into the practice arose in 2016, but financing this buy-in was a significant hurdle.

To address this, Jasmin approached her local bank, part of the KfW Banking Group, seeking a loan to facilitate her partnership. The loan was made possible through the support of the European Investment Fund (EIF) and the Investment Plan for Europe, which aims to stimulate investments in small and medium-sized enterprises. The financing was provided on favorable terms, enabling Jasmin to successfully buy into the practice.

As a result of this tailored financial solution, Jasmin not only secured her position as a partner but also took on responsibilities in human resources management, dedicating a quarter of her time to this role. This experience has proven to be a rewarding challenge, allowing her to contribute significantly to the growth and management of the practice.
