Bobus, a transportation company based in Montenegro, faced challenges in expanding its freight transport services due to limitations in its vehicle fleet. Originally established as a family business in 2003, Bobus had grown from a bakery into a transportation service with a fleet of 11 trucks, primarily serving routes from Montenegro to neighboring countries. However, to enhance their operational capacity and meet increasing demand, they required a new truck that could accommodate larger containers.

To address this need, Bobus sought financial assistance from Crnogorska Komercijalna Banka (CKB), which provided a loan supported by an EU guarantee through the European Investment Fund (EIF). This tailored financial solution enabled Bobus to purchase a new truck that significantly improved their transportation capabilities. As a direct result of this investment, the company was able to expand its service destinations and increase its operational scope.

The impact of this expansion was notable; Bobus hired three additional employees, raising its workforce to a total of 18. This growth not only enhanced the company's service capacity but also contributed to local employment. The successful acquisition of the new truck and the subsequent business growth exemplify how targeted financial support can facilitate significant operational improvements in the transportation sector.
