Following a whistleblower report, we was engaged to conduct a financial investigation into a fast-growing tech business, focusing on financial reporting, corporate governance, and internal controls. The urgency of the situation necessitated a rapid deployment of we's Forensic Services team, as the findings had the potential to significantly impact the company's operations.
The investigation involved a comprehensive review of financial records, interviews with company staff, and an examination of electronic records. we's forensic accountants, supported by a forensic technology team from their Cambridge, Norwich, and Birmingham offices, identified over 240,000 documents during their initial review.
