Full Credential Description
Bobus, a transportation company based in Montenegro, faced challenges in expanding its freight transport services due to limitations in its vehicle fleet. Established in 2003 as a continuation of a family business that began with a bakery, Bobus had grown its transport activity to become the most significant segment of its operations. However, to meet increasing demand and broaden its service offerings, the company needed to acquire a new truck that could handle larger containers.
To address this need, Bobus sought financial assistance from Crnogorska Komercijalna Banka (CKB), which provided a loan supported by an EU guarantee through the European Investment Fund (EIF). This tailored solution enabled Bobus to purchase a truck that met its specific requirements, allowing the company to expand its destinations and enhance its operational capacity.
As a direct result of this investment, Bobus was able to increase its workforce by hiring three additional employees, raising the total number of staff to 18. This growth not only improved the company's service capabilities but also contributed to its overall business expansion in the region, which includes transport routes to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and northern Croatia.
