FRPs multidisciplinary team provided crucial financial advisory and corporate finance to Foresight Group during its multi-million pound equity investment in Cambrionix Limited. Founded in 2007, Cambrionix specializes in developing hardware and software that facilitates the large-scale deployment of mobile devices, particularly in sectors such as software quality assurance, education, healthcare, and retail. The company has established strong relationships with major global technology firms and is integral to the growing trend of shared mobile devices, with approximately five million devices connected to its hardware at any given time. Foresight Group, a private equity firm focused on infrastructure, recognized Cambrionix as a strategic investment opportunity to enhance its portfolio in the telecoms sector. To support this investment, FRP acted as the lead financial and tax due diligence adviser. The team, led by Financial Advisory Director Joanne Price, along with Corporate Finance Partner Chris Adlam and Director Matt Field, collaborated closely with Foresight Group, Cambrionix, and other advisers to facilitate the transaction, support commercial negotiations, and ensure a favorable outcome for Foresight Group. The investment from Foresight Group is set to empower Cambrionixs management team to advance their strategy for mass deployment of mobile devices. As part of the transaction, notable industry leaders Steve Leyland and Gordon Campbell will join Cambrionixs board as executive chair and CFO, respectively. This backing is expected to provide Cambrionix with the necessary resources to scale its operations and strengthen its position as a leading supplier to global blue-chip companies.
