Global law firm White Case LLP advised Montagu, a leading mid-market private equity firm, on the acquisition of IAI Group, Polands largest e-commerce SaaS platform. The acquisition involved a preliminary agreement to purchase IAI from MCI Capital ASI and the companys founders, Paweł Fornalski and Sebastian Muliński. This strategic move allows Montagu to expand its portfolio of digital infrastructure businesses across Europe, which includes other companies like Multifonds and Wireless Logic. IAI Group serves approximately 7,000 stores in Poland and 6,000 in Hungary through its brands IdoSell, AtomStore, and Shoprenter. Additionally, IAI owns IdoPayments, a payment company recognized as a National Payment Institution by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. The transaction is pending customary , including approval from the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK).
