Full Credential Description
Global law firm White Case LLP provided legal advice to the joint lead managers on the issuance of US$600 million Notes due 2028 by The Arab Energy Fund, part of its Global Medium Term Note Programme. This issuance followed a previous successful issuance of US$650 million Notes due 2030 under the same programme, which White Case also advised on. The joint lead managers for the latest issuance included prominent financial institutions such as Citigroup Global Markets Limited, Commercial Bank of Dubai P.S.C., DBS Bank Ltd., and Emirates NBD Capital. In addition to advising on the issuance, White Case also played a crucial role in the 2024 update of the Global Medium Term Note Programme, working with a dealer panel that featured major banks including Bank of China Limited, Barclays Bank PLC, and J.P. Morgan Securities plc. Both the programme and the recent Notes issuance were listed on Euronext Dublin, enhancing the visibility and accessibility of the Arab Energy Funds financial instruments in the international market. The White Case team that facilitated this transaction was led by partner Debashis Dey, alongside local partner Marcin Zawadzki and associate Amir Mehdizadeh Iranpour, all based in Dubai. Their expertise in capital markets and financial institutions was instrumental in navigating the complexities of this significant financial transaction.
