Full Credential Description
In June 2025, White Case LLP provided legal advice to SEB on its issuance of €500 million in bonds, which are set to mature in five years and will be traded on the regulated market of Euronext Paris. SEB, a global leader in small domestic equipment, reported sales of €8.3 billion in 2024 and employs over 32,000 people worldwide. The net proceeds from this bond issuance are earmarked for general corporate purposes, enabling SEB to diversify its funding sources and extend the average maturity of its debt. This issuance also plays a crucial role in refinancing a previous €500 million bond that matured on June 16, 2025. The banking syndicate for this transaction was led by prominent financial institutions including BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole CIB, Crédit Industriel et Commercial S.A., and Natixis. The White Case team in Paris, which facilitated this transaction, was led by partners Thomas Le Vert and Tatiana Uskova, along with associate Eva Brunelli Brondex.
