Trench Group, a global provider of components and systems for high voltage power transmission and a portfolio company of Triton, faced challenges with its existing debt that needed restructuring to support its future growth. The tailored solution involved a comprehensive refinancing package that included a long-term syndicated loan (term loan B) of €380 million, a revolving credit facility of €130 million, and a guarantee facility of €75 million. This new financing structure was specifically designed to not only refinance existing debt but also to facilitate investments in production capacities and research and development, thereby positioning Trench Group for future expansion and innovation in its industry.
